GIS (Gorrkbuy Industrial Supplies), owned by the Nortruss Group, is based in Gove in north-east Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. GIS is part of the largest building supplies company servicing the north of Australia, from Broome to Darwin and Gove and the mining companies and remote communities between.

GIS is recognised as Northern Australia’s remote areas specialist, distributing construction and manufacturing supplies to remote areas across Northern Australia, with three locations to service our customers needs:

• Our Darwin freight management depot is responsible exclusively for the provision of supplies to remote areas, offering a unique and specialised service. It is responsible for ensuring our customers receive what they need, where and when they want it.

• Our industrial supply store in the Gove Industrial Estate provides building, plumbing and hardware supplies to mining companies, Aboriginal communities, government agencies, contractors, the local building trade and local residents.

• GIS Metaland , a Onesteel Metaland franchise, stocks a complete range of steel products for large and small scale construction projects. GIS Metaland also supplies personal protective equipment, welding consumables and gas.
