Malpi Village, Gove 2006

GIS supplied materials for Malpi Village, a Bunawal Investments project, involving construction of a housing village for government employees in Gove. GIS is the major supplier for many housing projects in the region.

Remote Area Housing - Australian Army projects

GIS won a national tender to supply the Australian Army with ten modular style houses for construction at Elcho Island, Northern Territory.

Due to the success of the Elcho Island project, GIS secured another Australian Army project, this time for the supply of building materials for modular-style dormitories for East Timor.

Remote Aboriginal Housing Projects

In consultation with Aboriginal communities, GIS developed a prefabricated modular building suitable for construction in remote communities. GIS provides the logistics needed to deliver buildings to some of the most remote parts of Australia and we have supplied more than 200 domestic and commercial buildings throughout Arnhem Land.

Alcan Housing and Construction Projects, Gove

GIS has the capability to supply small and large scale construction projects, supplying quality materials combined with expertise in remote area logistics.

GIS supplied recent Alcan Gove housing projects, including plumbing, stormwater and fencing materials for the 1400-man Alcan G3 camp, 64 Gove Accommodation Module (GAM) units in conjunction with Altys, and construction materials for Bexalaw’s construction of 19 four-bedroom employee houses and the Alcan employee hotel (Wet Mess).
