As a franchise for Onesteel Metaland, the Territory’s largest steel distributor,  GIS Metaland stocks a wide range of steel products from reinforcing steels, structural sections and fittings, to rectangular hollow section and pipe. 

GIS Metaland also supplies welding consumables and gas, as well as Personal Protective Equipment including clothing, boots, and protective eye-wear.

GIS Metaland is the local agent for BOC, supplying BOC industrial gases to Rio Tinto Alcan for over 15 years, and gas to Gove businesses.

We will order in anything we don’t have in stock.  GIS Metaland’s prime location next to the Gove Perkins Shipping yard means supplies from the Perkins barges are delivered directly to our yard the day the barge arrives in Gove, providing our customers with timely delivery.
